Accessible and Affordable
- Located at Pleasant Valley and York Road, the Western Campus is convenient to those living in the western suburbs of Cuyahoga, Medina and Summit Counties.To serve the varying schedules of our students, classes are offered from early morning to late evening, on Saturday and Sunday, as well as through distance learning.
- In addition, Tri-C’s tuition is the lowest in Northeast Ohio.Many of our students take advantage of our transfer program, which allows them to complete the first two years of a baccalaureate degree at a third of the cost of most public institutions in our area.Tri-C offers more than 100 scholarship opportunities through the CCC Foundation to further assist our students.

The ability to access information 24/7 is vitally important to student success.We house a state-of-the-art Technology Learning Center with 800 computer stations that provide Internet access to all types of scholastic information.A large number of specialized classrooms are also equipped with state-of-the-art technology to visually demonstrate educational concepts and provide an interactive classroom atmosphere.

The Western Campus, A Closer Look…
The Western Campus, opened in 1966, is situated on the former site of the Crile General Hospital in Parma.The campus delivers high quality credit, transfer, honors and technical courses to meet the needs of its growing and vibrant community.
Programs housed at the campus include:
- An extensive Liberal Arts/Transfer program
- Automotive Technology
- Court Reporting and Captioning
- Early Childhood Education
- International Business
- Paralegal Studies
- Physician Assistant
- Many Health Careers Program
- Plus, a variety of one and two-year certifications in various disciplines, including information systems and computer systems options.
Who are our students?
Each semester, the Western Campus welcomes approximately 12,000 students.They come to us with the intent of transferring their junior year to a four-year institution or acquiring the skills necessary to secure a path to a well-paved career.

Did you know…
- Out of 1,200 colleges across the country, Tri-C is one of 20 that have been selected and nationally recognized, as a League of Innovation college.We were chosen because of the ingenuity our faculty demonstrates in developing programs that make us a benchmark institution.
- Students graduating from Tri-C’s Nursing Program have a 98% pass rate on the National Nursing Licensure Examination and students graduating from our Radiography Program have a 100% pass rate on the American Registry Exam.
- Evidence suggests that students who transfer to four-year universities from two-year institutions perform about as well in their junior year as students who continuously have attended four-year universities.(Source:Ohio Board of Regents: The Performance Report For Ohio’s Colleges and Universities, 2003).
- Visual Communication and Scientific Imaging Photography graduates work in varied areas such as the County Coroner’s Office or photography studios.
- The Western Campus houses the only Physician Assistant Program in a community college in Ohio, preparing students for medical careers in general medicine or surgery.
- Our Veterinary Technology Program accepts students from throughout Ohio.
- Students from the Western Campus represent over 28 countries from around the world.Most of our international students come from South Korea, Lebanon, Eastern Europe and South America.
